About the event

This workshop is all about the restorative power of time spent in nature to improve health & wellbeing

AND about accessing the wisdom, healing & guidance available to us from Trees & the natural world.

Our lives are busy & hectic, the world is a crazy place, our future is uncertain.

Our poor nervous systems are under strain keeping on top of it all.

It can sometimes feel overwhelming and can stress our systems the flip-out

"Times are Urgent. We must Slow Down."  Bayo Akomolafe

Research shows that spending just120 minutes a week in nature and with the trees reduces

stress and boosts psychological well-being.

This workshop can give you this week’s-worth of minutes in nature in just one session.

And will teach you

* simple techniques to activate your parasympathetic nervous system – your calm state of rest & digest.

* about sit spots – to be in nature with a calm body, quiet mind & embodied presence.

* to enter a state of receptivity, with your senses open to the intelligence & sentience of Trees

* to be creative and playful around connecting with the trees

* to experiment with how we might communicate with them as friends, mentors and wisdom keepers.

Be quiet. Be still, in the present moment, in nature, in connection with nature's wisdom.

Simply connect, listen and receive. You can redress the balance of a humanity that has lost

it’s connection with nature by coming directly to the web of life for guidance. Oak Tree

Circle is hosted by Clare of TreeWise. We will gather in the retreat yurt nestled in the beautiful

wild part of her organic & off-grid smallholding, down by the river Taf.

Limited places of 12.
